Following a Quality Audit from the British Standards Institute this week we are delighted to announce we have been recommended for early transition to the new ISO9001:2015 quality standard a year before the required transition date.
The auditor spent a full day at our head office where he audited our flame cutting and lumsden grinding processes as well as viewing a number of our support processes. No Non Conformities were found and based on the excellent work of staff from across the company he found we had reached the requirements for the new standard and will be recommending us for early transition. This will make us one of the first UK flame cutting firms to achieve the new standard.
We have worked closely with BSI over the years, it is recognised as one of the worlds leading standards bodies as well as one of the oldest having been founded in 1901. BSI are a UKAS accredited organisation which means they have gone through a process of being audited. Using a UKAS accredited body means our customers can be assured that our Quality Management System has been assessed with competence, impartiality and integrity of conformity.
